Welcome to ICE Factor

The only High School ice hockey program in Australia,
where young people learn to play the coolest and fastest team game on earth!

kaurna boomerangs vs ice factor alumni ice hockey exhibition game

The Kaurna Boomerangs are playing their first official exhibition game against the Ice Factor Alumni Saturday 28th September. The game will be a great test for the Boomerangs as they prepare for their trip to Canada in January. The Alumni boosts a lot of players from the current Ice Hockey South Australia divisions. Kaurna boomerangs taking over the country

The first Australian indigenous team Kaurna Boomerangs had a sensational tour in Darwin, Northern Territory taking on the local team in a 3 game series. The series was an unofficial exhibition event for the Arafura Games. The Boomerangs regular coach Justine Shaw could not make the trip due to personal commitments but everyone's favourite Ice Factor coach Joey Matthew took her place behind the bench. The team consists of current and former Ice Factor indigenous players and is captained by Jarrad Chester, the first indigenous ice hockey player to represent Australia and the teacher for the Northern Adelaide Senior Campus Bears. Team Leader was Brittany Armstrong from the Ice Factor Foundation.

The hosts took the first game of the 3 game series but the Boomerangs took the next 2 games to take home the "No More" cup. More to this story on the "latest news" section.

BOOKINGS - ICE FACTOR +

We would like to give a huge thank you to Wallmans Lawyers for stepping up and coming to support our Findon Falcons team. Findon Falcons had a great year in 2018 with a brand new team. Most of the players were year 8 students so we were looking at building another dynasty. However the school had struggled to get funding and we were at risk of losing the team until the great people at Wallmans Lawyers came to the rescue.
